MEET MELISSA FRIEH (Clinical Psychologist)

Mental Health Clinician.

Melissa Frieh completed her Master of Clinical

Psychology. She is registered with the Australian

Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA) and is a

member of the Australian Psychological Society

(APS).

Her approach to therapy involves education, collaboration, and evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Melissa has experience helping children, adolescents, and adults overcome various difficulties.

Melissa assisted adults with low to moderate mental health, such as anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, grief and loss, pain management, bipolar, major depression, recurrent depression, and agoraphobia/ panic attacks. Therapy with adolescents included anxiety (social, panic, and GAD), depression, major depression, stress, and low self-esteem.

In child therapy, Melissa assisted children with ADHD, managing behaviour and regulating emotions, building empathy, nightmares, and anxiety.

Melissa is committed to tailoring treatment to the client’s needs and strengths while providing a respectful, open, friendly, and non-judgmental environment.
